Size Guide

Getting the size right the first time saves you an exchange. Measure over light clothing, keep the tape snug but not tight, and compare against the charts below.

How to measure - Bust: around the fullest part of the chest, tape level under the arms. - Waist: around the narrowest part of the torso, usually just above the navel. - Hip: around the fullest part, about 20 cm below the waist. - Shoulder: from one shoulder bone to the other across the back. - Kameez or kurti length: from the shoulder seam straight down to where you want the hem. - Sleeve length: from the shoulder seam to the desired end of the sleeve.

Women's stitched sizes (inches) - XS: bust 32, waist 26, hip 35 - S: bust 34, waist 28, hip 37 - M: bust 36, waist 30, hip 39 - L: bust 38, waist 32, hip 41 - XL: bust 40, waist 34, hip 43 - XXL: bust 42, waist 36, hip 45 - 3XL: bust 44, waist 38, hip 47

Kurti and kameez lengths - Short kurti: 34–36 in - Regular kurti: 38–40 in - Long kameez: 44–46 in - Gown or maxi: 52–56 in

Men's panjabi (inches) - S: chest 38, length 40, shoulder 17 - M: chest 40, length 42, shoulder 17.5 - L: chest 42, length 43, shoulder 18 - XL: chest 44, length 44, shoulder 18.5 - XXL: chest 46, length 45, shoulder 19 - 3XL: chest 48, length 46, shoulder 19.5

Sarees, dupattas and blouses - Sarees are 5.5 yards with a 0.8-yard blouse piece unless stated otherwise. - Blouse pieces are unstitched, and are cut to fit up to a 40-inch bust. - Dupattas are 2.25–2.5 metres depending on the set.

Fit notes - Between two sizes? Go up for silk and structured pieces, stay at your size for cotton and jersey. - Handloom cotton may shrink about half an inch in length after the first wash. - All measurements are body measurements, not garment measurements; garments include ease.
